Operation Fire Rescue and Renovate
We have created Operation Fire Rescue & Renovate to help families that have fallen victim to house fires. We are working with local companies to help with the clean up and replacement of their home and items lost in the tragedy.
We understand that most families do not have enough insurance to cover the damages of the fire. Times like these can be overwhelming and very traumatizing. We want to help get these unfortunate families get their life put back together as soon as possible. We want to help with the items that fall in between the cracks of getting covered by the insurance companies; Items such as beds, clothing, kitchen items and furniture. Our dream is to set up families with enough supplies and items to make the transition easy as possible.
We have already begun our relief efforts by helping the O'Hagan Family with the rebuild of their home. They lost their home and everything in it. JBWC has stepped in and are helping with the rebuild process. Not only are we getting materials and household items for them, we have partnered with J.I.J. Construction from Wellington, and helped deal with the insurance company to make sure they got their fair share of a claim. Together we helped secure over $30,000 more than the insurance company had originally told them they were going to get.
